GAME RULES

NOTE THAT THESE RULES ARE NOT FINISHED! I WILL SEND A NEWSLETTER TO ALL MEMBERS WHEN THEY ARE DONE!

HAS YOUR CHARACTER SHEET BEEN ACTIVATED? NO? Then click here
If your character sheet has been activated though, you may continue...

I know these rules are long but read it from top to bottom. Thank You!

1. Character Sheet Stats

Take a look at your character sheet, this is what should be showing after its activation. If it does not, click on my email or PM at the bottom of any of my posts and write to me saying that you did not receive your starting stats as should have been.

As you can see here, it will not always be a good thing to be a demon. You start at a high level, but monetarily poor. A human starts at the lowest level but has more chances of surviving in their first battle, and also starts with 10 mental points (MTL) if they are a priest or priestess.

Moving on...

2. TRAINING

You must find yourself a sensei (master) who has already gone through the training! You can find them in HERE. You'll need to wait until your name shows up under your sensei (master) in the link I sent you to above: 'Students In Training', before you can begin your training in the arenas. Once your name shows up, you can buy your first weapon! To get more money in order to buy a formidable weapon, you can take the Easy Money Quiz (100Ұ each question), take the Find Kirara! search game, and more are coming up!

ARENAS are where you will 'Level Up'. In other words, battle with other members of this forum. All battles in the arenas are 1 on 1. By winning a battle in the arena, you get a level up. You MUST train with your own kind as well. I don't think I'd see humans training with demons in the feudal era. And half-demons? Well, we fans, all know they weren't accepted by either species.

By winning your first battle, you have 'earned' your first weapon. Mind the levels that are required to use each weapon, it's very important! Second battle won earns your first Special Attack (Attack #3). Third battle, Attack #4. And Fourth battle, Attack #5. That means that everyone to win at least 4 battles before starting in the fields.

Once all 5 attacks have been filled in your character sheet, you will receive your game-code (GC) which is composed of 6 characters - both digits & alphabets. Your game-code (GC) is a confirmation that you have gone through the training and can now play the game on the fields.

Very important! Demons do not pass through training. All their experience is done on the field.

3. FIELD BATTLES

On the field, if you lose a battle, your character dies & you must start all over. You need to go through the process of requesting to play again HERE, but with a different character name and race. if your character was once a demon, you only have the choice of a half-demon or a human.

Battles can take place anywhere, the point of this game is to level up, and to do so, you must win as many battles as possible. BUT! To enter any particular land, you must request permission (first topic of every land). Once you have permission, you can roam freely through that land collecting items, searching for artifacts, and get into battles.

Visit the shops often: weaponry, armoury, herb shop & potions shop, which are great items to have while in battle (you can store up to 30 items in your character sheet).

>> HOW TO BATTLES

Very simple, I assure you! Most of the work is actually done by the Game Master anyway.

Once a battle is underway, you may choose to fight, or to run. If you run, we'll never know about it, so don't you worry. If you decide to fight though, create a new topic WITH A SUBJECT specifying what it is about. Example: Fight with Snake Demon.

Note: You may look up other battles for examples of how it works.

This is what you will write in your post (underscores represent your stats):

Player _
Level _ GC# _
_ LIF _ EXP
_ ATK _ DEF
_ SPD _ MTL

A3 _
A4 _
A5 _

Weapon:
Armour:
Artifact:
Items:

You can only have 1 Weapon, 1 Amour, and 1 Artifact. If your Weapon is an artifact, it does not count because in that case, it would be your Weapon, same for the armour. You can only carry a maximum of 6 items with you during the battle - that includes herbs and potions.

That's it for that. You now wait for a Game Master to contact you when your turn has come.

Your turn will begin by reading the Game Master's update. It will tell you how much damage you made upon your opponent, and how much you received as well as how it is counted. More will come on that subject later on.

Then, you will need to click on the REPLY button that is located at the top or bottom of the page. No need to enter a subject when you reply to a topic.

Your post will consist of attacking or defending. Attack: only mention what you want done to your enemy. Defend: either heal, use a shield for the next attack intended for you, or raise your stats.

Before pressing on 'Send', there is one more thing you need to do: scroll down under the 'Preview' and 'Send' buttons to set the options of 'ROLL The DICE'. 'Roll the dice #1' has to be set to '6' in order to roll. 'Dice rolls' is suggested in being left at '1' because if you set it to '0', the dice will not roll.

Battles that have more than 2 players can often be confusing since this game as a forum does not have a graphical interface. In situations where you do not know which player to attack, set the 'Dice rolls' to '2'. The second dice will choose who will be struck.

QUESTIONS? PM LadySylvia or Kagome69

>> I ATTACKED! DID I HIT OR NOT?

You do not have to read this part of the rules because the calculations will be done by the Game Master. However, if you wish to make sure the Game Master did not make a mistake when calculating the damage points, you may want to read this.

Until your training has been finalized, these calculations do not apply because your special attacks are not permitted in the arenas.

Now, to know if you have hit your opponent or not, these calculations come into play (this is where it gets really interesting):

Attack #1 (A1) is generally equal to 10 attack points (10 ATK).
Attack #2 (A2) = 20 attack points (20 ATK).
A3 = 30 ATK
A4 = 40 ATK
A5 = 50 ATK

As you go up a level, these above numbers change. Humans have an increase of 2 pts for each level, half-demons 5 pts, and demons 10 pts. That is of course, after your training has been completed.

Roll 1 = NO HIT
Roll 2 = Your level + attack points
Roll 3 = (Roll 2) x 3
Roll 4 = (Roll 2) x 4
Roll 5 = (Roll 2) x 5
Roll 6 = (Roll 2) x 6

Example: You are level 10, your attack points are 60. If you attack by punching, your attack becomes 70 points (attack 1 = + 10 attack points). Roll a 4 and this is how much damage you will make: (lvl 10 + 70 ATK) x 4 = 320. You would make 320 points of damage to your opponent.

I hope that is clear.

4. BATTLE WINNINGS

Let's start by the winning battle points within the arenas. The winner automatically receives an increase of 50 Life Points (LIF), 10 of Defence (DEF), 10 of Attack (ATK), 10 of Experience (EXP), 5 of Speed (SPD), and 5 of Mental (MTL). That you are human, or half-demon, it is the same.
